Also, while Chavez and his cronies suck the life out of the country, the people will suffer. That is the nature of third-world tinpot communist dictators. As for Citgo, if the boycott is successful, the company will be devalued and will be purchased by someone else at a loss.

I'll continue to pass the Citgo stations by and will pull into a 7-11 every chance I get.Beermehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02220164574786223737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12208632.post-1159764097697018402006-10-01T21:41:00.000-07:002006-10-01T21:41:00.000-07:00Please some objective views about world issues, es...Please some objective views about world issues, especially concerning Latin America

http://supportvenezuela.blogspot.com/Editorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15512567909545884094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12208632.post-1159764042962446992006-10-01T21:40:00.000-07:002006-10-01T21:40:00.000-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Editorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15512567909545884094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12208632.post-1159737618295941332006-10-01T14:20:00.000-07:002006-10-01T14:20:00.000-07:00Ya, I read blogs!Ya, I read blogs!Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10658526498243992232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12208632.post-1159737306331976082006-10-01T14:15:00.000-07:002006-10-01T14:15:00.000-07:00Hawkeye has it right. A lot of U.S. employees will suffer because we will not tolerate the ravings of this mini-me Castro.

I shall try to avoid Citgo, in the intricacies of the world petroleum market. It means starving the Venezuealan people further than their "benevolent leader", but it will reveal the ultimate evil. Chavez is a clown and a demagogue, and if his people react fast enough, they will pre-empt the day he exerts true influence.Roberthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10658526498243992232noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12208632.post-1159727188927764022006-10-01T11:26:00.000-07:002006-10-01T11:26:00.000-07:00I feel sorry for the vast majority of Citgo's U.S....I feel sorry for the vast majority of Citgo's U.S. employees. They had nothing to do with the sale of their company to Chavez. I'm angry that the Bush administration allowed the sale go through. He should have declared Citgo an asset of national importance. We need to establish energy independence... so we do that by selling our assets? I have mailed a comment to 7-11 telling them that if they had 7-11's here, I would chose them for dropping Citgo.
I haven't pulled into a Citgo for ages. And I don't care if it doesn't change anything in the land of big business and world government. You don't come to my home and insult my family and the decor.
When I drive by a Citgo, I want to put a big sign near it saying, Boycott Citgo.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
