I thought a Bud was the more expensive brew, there. When did Old Style get pricey? And what's the whole name? Been so long since I've had that beer, I can't remember!
Both are cheap beers in the sense that they are mass-produced, tasteless lagers (see previous post on fizzy, yellow sodas), though the Bud is the more expensive of the two. Old Style, Chicago's best, is produced by the Heileman Brewery and is more properly called Heileman's Old Style, though it is also a modern, Light American Lager, just like Budweiser.
Generally, micro-brewed beer is much more expensive than either of these beers. More important, though, they are much more flavorful!
This whole thing seems a little "squirrely" to me. This is the last "straw". Doesn't that guy have the money to afford a better beer? Or maybe he's just "nuts" about Bud, eh? You should get him to tell you his "tail".
maggie You don't need to know anything about beer to visit here. I'll take care of the heavy lifting, cuz!
Libby Gone™ I tend to think of it as People Eating Tasy Animals (squirrel in a crockpot...mmmmhmmm!), but I like your thinking!
Hawkeye® I'm sure he has more sense than is apparent in the photo, perhaps he has it "squirreled" away somewhere? Nah, that squirrel sucks. He should leave on the horse he "rodent" on. OK, I'll quit now. I've climbed far enough out on that limb...
I thought the squirrel was in a blind taste test and obviously picked the better of the two. Considering the squirrel's body mass, one Bud oughta do it.

What, no picture?!
Thanks for the pic, Jack!
Nice "Ray Charles" glasses, too!
I might be able to work with this...

Could be my advancing age, but....

I just saw THAT SQUIRREL running across the expressway haphazardly. Better call PITA (People Intoxicating Tiny Animals......)
